How to Make Bootable Usb Windows 10

One of the most useful elements that we can have at our disposal is a Windows 10 bootable USB, and why? Because this portable device will help us always to be able to access our favorite operating system Windows 10 (In this case). At any time, on any computer and in any place and even if we have one of these bootable USBs with Windows 10, we can access the operating system even if the computer that we will use does not have any active operating system.

Why is this possible? This is because when connecting the bootable USB, we will log in directly from the operating system installed on it. This makes it a very useful tool even to make repairs to our damaged or faulty operating system that does not allow us to log in normally, since we only have to log in with the bootable USB and repair our original operating system while using it.

There are several ways that we have at our disposal to create a bootable USB for Windows 10, among these ways we have the simple and fast, and then the somewhat complex and slow. As we all like quick and simple ways of doing things, they save us a great deal of time and effort. In this article, we will explain one of the fastest and simplest ways that we can find to create your own Windows 10 bootable USB and start using it in your day-to-day.

`Rufus´ is a program that appeared in 2011 and is one of the most prominent programs in helping us speed up and simplify the process of creating our bootable USB. From the moment of its launch, until today, the program has been evolving and creating new versions, while maintaining and reinforcing its key capacity, which is to create a bootable USB.

What makes ‘Rufus’ one of the most used programs when creating bootable USB, is the speed of its execution and the simplicity of its interface, not to mention that you will not even need to install the program on your computer to be able to use it, you just need to download the .exe file and run it directly, without any extra steps.

Well, since we know what `Rufus´ is and what it is for, it is time to tell you how to use it so that in a few minutes you can enjoy your new portable Windows 10 operating system.

Steps to make a bootable USB Windows 10

1. The first thing in starting to create our bootable USB, is to go to our favorite browser, either Chrome, Opera or Firefox and then enter Google, and in the search bar we place ‘Download ISO image of Windows 10’. Once this is done, select the most promising one and download the Windows 10 ISO image, it will be vital in this process.

2. Once you have downloaded the Windows 10 ISO image, now if we will start with `Rufus´ only as with the ISO image, you must look for the program and enter its official page (Or any page where you can download it) and download the portable version which is the one that allows you to use it on a USB.

3. With the first two steps done, we are finally ready to begin the actual process to complete our bootable USB. As we said at the beginning in the explanation of the `Rufus´ program, once the file is downloaded, you do not need to install it. Simply go to the downloaded file and run it.

4. When you run it, the first thing that will appear will be a window for updating ‘Rufus’ but don’t pay attention to it and press ‘No’ to remove it and the program interface will appear.

5. Once the interface appears, connect the USB you plan to use for this process (Each will highlight that the USB must already be formatted). When you connect it you will see that all the options of the `Rufus’ interface are activated, and the USB device will appear in the first option called ‘Device’.

6. The next option you will have to select will be the ‘Boot choice’, here you will see three options, from which you must select ‘Disk or ISO image’ which is the one we will need for our bootable USB.

7. Once we choose ‘Disk or ISO image’ right next to it, the option ‘Select’ will appear and we will click there. Next, go to the location where the ISO image of Windows 10 is that must already be downloaded and select it.

8. Once the Windows 10 ISO image is selected, we can select the ‘File system’. The default will have ‘FAT32’ so we can leave it like that. There are also other options that you can use if you have some advanced knowledge about it, but they are not necessary to make our USB bootable. So it is best to leave them alone unless you know what you are doing.

9. Well, once each of the previous steps is done, make sure again that all the options are correct. Finally, press the ‘Start’ button and the program will begin to do its work and create our Bootable USB Windows 10.

10. When you click on start, you may see a window, which is like an extra step that you must do before the program starts working. In these cases, two or more options will appear, but you just have to select the one recommended by `Rufus´ and press` Ok´, and voila, and the program will start running.

11. Finally, when everything is ready, the status bar that will appear when the program starts to run will turn completely green and we will have our new Windows 10 bootable USB in perfect condition to use whenever we want.
