Google SideWiki New Tool Lets you Comment on WebPages

Sidewiki, which is a addition to the Google Toolbar, can be used by its users to leave comments about that websites. Google Toolbar(Including Sidewiki) is currently available for Firefox and Internet Explorer, it will be a default feature of Google Chrome’s next Release.

The comments will be visible to other users of Google’s Sidewiki who visit the site and they can post their own comments. The usefull comments would be on the top(voted by users of SideWiki) rather than the most recent one’s.

Google, in the blog post, wrote that Sidewiki was a way for users of the web to contribute “insights” and “helpful information” to any page.


Technology blogger’s were divided in their opinion for Sidewiki. Some have Positive but most are negative, till i have seen. This may anger some online publishers who have commenting systems of their own that they’d prefer visitors continue to use. The SideWiki will rob Blog publishers of their site’s much value as it takes away comments from their blogs and publishes it on google, but in some cases could be really Helpful.

Let’s Face It, Google has the Best Products I m sure SideWiki will be beneficiary for Google Toolbar.

    Hi Buddy,

    Good site. Some interesting and knowlegeable comments man :) I know, I am creeping,lol. Hopefully I can produce something like this myself. Which site did you buy your templates from?

    Hopefully one of you folks may be able to help me out somewhat here. I am looking for someone who I was informed told was a member on here. They used to use the name ‘lafftube’.

    Because I am looking to start my own website on cosmetics related content for items such as: professional teeth whitener (hence the where did you get your templates from,lol) but am having realllll difficulty getting hold of dropshippers for these goods. I had been in touch with this guy but my PC got stolen and unfortunately had all my contact details on it (I know, I know, should have backed it up :( )

    So if you guys have heard or seen anything of him could you send me a message please? Failing that maybe one of you people knows someone?

    Also, which hosting do you use as I keep informed bad stories about the host I am considering of placing my site with. Plus any other useful tips you could give re starting up my site would be useful and gratefully appreciated.

    I do hope that someone has useful info about this
